Landmines and other weapons create physical, psychological and economic barriers for peace-building operations, refugees and displaced persons, and post-conflict communities across the globe. In Fall 2019, James Madison University's Center for International Stabilization and Recovery (CISR) is hosting a global training course on-campus for representatives from 16 different humanitarian mine action programs working to rid countries of dangerous landmines and other weapons contamination. Join us as a panel of mine action representatives from affected countries offer their experience and insight about what it means to break down these barriers.
